Tribute Hotel

Byldis starts assembly works

Byldis began the assembly works of the Tribute Hotel project in ’s-Hertogenbosch this month.

As a result of the desired openness and flexibility, the lower floors of the hotel have a structure consisting mainly of columns and beams. From the second floor upwards (hotel rooms) the entire hull will be built in precast concrete.

The sandwich facade elements of the second floor have already been installed, including the construction and the stairways of the emergency stairwell.

We started laying the third storey floor last Monday and tomorrow we will make a start on the next construction layer. That’s how fast building with precast concrete can be!

Tribute Hotel

The Tribute Hotel in ’s-Hertogenbosch will be a 5-star hotel (approx. 160 rooms) and will have two restaurants, of which one is a rooftop restaurant, various conference facilities and a fitness gym. The new hotel Tribute by Marriott International is being constructed at the Paleiskwartier, the hyper modern urban area of 's-Hertogenbosch, immediately adjacent to the city centre and the central station. The building will be no less than 60-meters high.

Our contribution

In total, we are supplying 300 facade elements for the hotel, as well as all the floors and internal walls in the building. Two different kinds of brick are used in these elements, creating a complex masonry pattern.
