1. The project: Deutschlandhaus

The new Deutschlandhaus replaces the building from the late 1920s. The new building, with a gross floor area of about 40,000 square metres, offers almost 30,000 square metres of space for offices, about 4,000 square metres of space for retail and gastronomy on Valentinskamp Platz, and 2,000 square metres of space for about 30 flats. In addition, there are two basement floors with just under 10,000 square metres, which include 164 underground parking spaces.

2. Byldis contribution to this project

Producing and supplying single masonry of exclusive Petersen bricks from Denmark.

3. Why was Byldis chosen?

A precast supplier was already involved, it did not pass the architect's quality inspection of the work. We were able to convince the architect and client of our quality with several masonry samples. Shortly afterwards, we received the formal order.
