Attractive canals, beautiful facades, cosy streets, green courtyards and beautiful design flats from €180,000 to €700,000. You will find this on the new canalside of the high-profile residential area Holland Park, just 10 minutes from Amsterdam. Holland Park makes affordable living possible, in stunning flats between 45 m² and 100 m².
This unique stand-alone neighbourhood was designed by renowned architect and urban planner Sjoerd Soeters. Inspired by his previously designed Java Island and Sluseholmen, the canal town in Copenhagen. A place with its own character, like the Jordaan or De Pijp: a vibrant neighbourhood with water, beautiful streets, good amenities, cosy restaurants and excellent connections. Construction started in 2015, and a year later the first residents moved in.
2. Byldis contribution to this project
Byldis produces all the facades (2,800 units), 7 curtain walls for the flats, commercial spaces and other areas.
3. Why was Byldis chosen?
On the recommendation of system supplier Wicona.
4. Uitdagingen & oplossingen
It was a challenging puzzle, especially logistically; 14 building sections, each section at least four different colours. A total of 14 different colours, including standard powder coating, colour anodisation and textured paint. Approx. 3,000 facades and more than 2,000 different brands. Lead time of 11 months. Good phasing and precise work was the solution.
