1. The project: One Thames City

Flowering new city
Step inside this fresh district of London with three residential towers at its helm that’s set to become the new favourite landmark on the London skyline. A significant development of 12 buildings, Thames City offers beautiful apartments and private luxury amenities, high-end retail and exquisite dining experiences. All life interconnects through a network of lush parks, intimate green courtyards and enchanting city squares.

2. Byldis contribution to this project

Byldis will produce, supply and assemble the prefabricated cladding elements for this residential tower. The building is typified by the mass of hefty facade pendants that we are suspending from the building.

Fun facts:

  • these elements contain a total of 2,120 cubic metres of concrete and 240,000 kg of reinforcing steel
  • around 10 moulds required for production
  • this project involves more than 6,200 production hours in the plant
  • approximately 270 shipments needed to transport all elements to London
